Affordable Home Care Services

Home Care Services

The cost of non-medical home care services varies depending on where you live and the level of care required. At Chesapeake Caregivers, we make the process simple by offering a free, no-obligation, in-home assessment. This allows us to:

  • Understand your loved one’s specific needs.
  • Provide an accurate cost estimate.
  • Discuss ways to enhance the quality of life for the care recipient—all in the comfort of their home.

Why Choose Home Care?

Most often, home care is not only more affordable than assisted living or nursing facilities but also more desirable for the care recipient. Key benefits include:

  • Personalized 1:1 attention: A dedicated caregiver builds a meaningful connection with your loved one.
  • Companionship and safety: Caregivers provide support and reassurance throughout the day.
  • The comfort of home: Your loved one stays in the familiar surroundings of the place they cherish.
  • Peace of mind: Families feel reassured knowing their loved one is safe and well-cared for.

Flexible Care Options

We offer customized care plans to fit your family’s needs, including:

  • A few hours of care per day, several days a week.
  • 24/7 comprehensive care for more complex needs.
  • Live-in support for ongoing, around-the-clock assistance.
  • Insurance Support Made Easy

We accept all Long Term Care Insurance (LTC) and make the claims process hassle-free by:

  • Working directly with the insurance company.
  • Handling all necessary documentation.
  • Ensuring prompt reimbursement so you can focus on your loved one.

Managing the Cost of Care

Getting Started

We accept all long-term care insurance (LTC) and have decades of experience working with long-term care insurance companies. Chesapeake Caregivers works with many insurance companies including MetLife, Genworth, and CNA, among many others, and can assist you through the process of initiating and maintaining long-term care insurance benefits.

Long-Term Care Insurance

A long-term care insurance policy assists in funding the costs of that care when you have a chronic medical condition, a disability, or a disorder such as Alzheimer’s disease. Traditionally, long-term care insurance policies send a reimbursement check to the client for services paid out of pocket.

Assessments

Many long-term care insurance companies require an RN Assessment. We have our staff RN complete an assessment within the first 14 days and every 120 days thereafter. Chesapeake Caregivers will send the assessments to the long-term care Insurance company for review.

Reimbursement

Chesapeake Caregivers will send the invoice to the client to pay. To reduce the burden on clients, we will submit the invoice and any supporting documents, such as daily care notes & assessments to the long-term care insurance company for a nominal fee. If you prefer, we can work with you to set up a payment option where the long-term care insurance company sends payment directly to Chesapeake Caregivers.

Resolving Issues

If any problems occur, such as receiving reimbursement(s), initiating a claim, submitting paperwork, or any other issues, we will contact the long-term care insurance company on your behalf to resolve the situation.
