My name is Shelley Mielke and my mother has lived at Chesapeake Caregivers Assisted Living since April, 2002. She has Alzheimer’s and had previously been living in an Alzheimer’s unit at a large nursing facility in the community for fourteen months after my father became ill and could no longer care for her.

Since my mother has lived at Chesapeake Caregivers, I have been very impressed with the quality of care she has received. Phyllis Sanders and her staff of caregivers have provided a clean, attractive, and comfortable atmosphere for their patients. They are always available for any concerns you may have and communicate with you regularly about the status of your loved one. They are willing to provide transportation to doctor’s appointments if needed and customize the care needed for each patient at their facility. My mother’s primary care physician was impressed with the physical improvement of my mother after just a few months living at Chesapeake Caregivers’ home. I highly recommend this assisted living to anyone requiring care for a relative or loved one.
